Every Sunday, we curate a fun & biblically-based environment for kids ages 6 weeks through 5th grade! With God as our center and parents as our partners, our ultimate goal is to come alongside you to plant the seeds of faith in the hearts and minds of our youngest disciples. Our kids ministry is here to serve you and your child every Sunday.

FAQ

When is FWD Kids offered?

We have Kids services every Sunday for babies through Kindergarten, and on a rotational basis for our Elementary-aged disciples.

When can I check-in my child?

Check-in opens 15 minutes before service and closes 15 minutes after service begins.

My child is nervous. Can I stay in their classroom?

Since our FWD Kids area is secured, only our background-checked leaders are permitted in the classroom. If you’d like to keep your child with you in the sanctuary during service, you are welcome to! We often have coloring sheets and other fidget tools to help ease them during the message.

Is your space safe?

Our FWD Kids area is secured and monitored. All our volunteers in Kids are background-checked to ensure safety for all our Forward Friends. Upon check-in, you will receive a parent tag that permits you to ender the kids area. This tag is required to pick-up your child!

What do I need to drop-off my child?

If your child is still in diapers, we recommend bringing diapers and wipes. We have many toys and activities, and kindly request that toys are left at home to ensure that they don’t end up astray!

For our older friends, we offer potty breaks throughout the service. In our pre-k and kindergarten classroom, we provide water and Cheerios as a snack during our lesson.

What if my child has allergies?

When you register your child for FWD Kids, you can input allergies or medical conditions. These will be printed on the child’s tag so that the servant leader is aware when the child enters the classroom!

What does FWD Kids class consist of?

Each class offers an age-appropriate Bible lesson, activities, and fun time with our friends! We are not childcare providers — we are raising the next disciples of Jesus! Check out the photos below for a sneak peek into our Sundays in FWD Kids:
